It basically explains the reasoning of black men being promiscuous and how it dates back and stems from the treatment of slave masters during slavery. I learned about this a while back after learning about the Willie Lynch theory of how to make a good slave. Anyway I'm not going to talk to much about it...watch this and learn something new. Pour A Little Henny Out...

Sooo, Monday's show was a blast. So much so that I practically teleported myself (Dr. Manhattan style) thru the door to upload the mp3. As soon as I walked in, I went into my bag for my flash drive (which I always save the shows on) - and it wasn't there?!

Remember that episode of Family Matters where Carl tries the little chant exercise to calm him down when he's tight? Yea. So I'm in the crib on some, "3,2,1 - 1,2,3 - what the heck is bothering me?" I wanted to double back and check the station (it's after 1AM at this point), but my station key card was deactivated so I wouldn't have had access. Bumbaclotttt!

So - I wake up SUPER early the following morning to get to the station before anyone else does. Scooped the key from the engineer in the TVR (Television & Radio) Dept. Everything was going as planned...I get into the station and it's not there! *insert every expletive you've ever heard here* I'm telling y'all, I was on the ground maneuvering my hands thru carpet fibers. I looked EVERYWHERE, 3 times. Nothing! Then I allowed reality to sink in. When I left the night before, I turned off all the lights and closed the station door behind me. When I came in the following morning, the lights were on. *insert dramatic crime movie theme music* The damn janitors beat me to the station!!! IF my flash was there, it may have ended up in a huge trash can (and later, dumpster), or worse - in a vacuum -_-.

The search didn't end there, though! I combed the hallway, the elevator, the street where my co-host parked, the street where my co-host dropped me off near my apartment and walked the same route I walked to get to my building...NADA!

So - as we bid my SanDisk Cruzer Micro 2 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (his name was Flashy, btw) a final farewell, enjoy the footage provided by N-E-G and be on the look-out for more footage from 576 Productions. Thanks so much to Loj x Kingpin Kel x Jeremy for coming thru. And a major thank you to Scooba Steve of 576 Productions for coming thru to tape the interview. In the end, not all was lost - so I'm happy.

Whew, Updates!

Good morning!

I'm grateful for making it thru this week. It was incredibly hectic to say the least. Happy Belated to Cuz We Said So AND Happy Birthday (today) to Mista Mista Ian Jay (the first DJ of CWSS); luh ya baybayyyy!

I'm pleased to say that the anniversary party was a great success. Thanks so much to everyone who came out and those who couldn't make it but still showed support. Pictures coming soon.

Whats good one and all...its the boy DJ WiLL GaTES. If u dont know, now u kno. ANYWAY, happy March to all the readers of the blog. The 2nd yr anniversary party is this Thursday, and im so lookin forward to tearin dat damn club up. This weekend was O.K. I fell victim to dealin wit a phony ass promoter...Brandon when i see u, u already kno what it is. The lame fake book me this Saturday at Webster Hall, along with DJ Maya and Micro Don, shout out to yall....and Ron Browz. BUT none of this took place because dude has no pull AND just "booked" us to promote and when we got there no one played but the place in house DJ's and no Ron Browz. So yeah, but bigger than all of that...is me and my team BiGCiTY.BiGCiTY, we have a youtube channel that we are promoting that feature videos of our performances, yeah DJ WiLL Gates do spit hot fire and other things including members of the BiGCiTY family LIKE....when me holley and my dude Pillz was at Barnes n Nobles freestyling on the floor...
